Rutland Local Plan Regulation 18 Review

Rutland County Council have prepared the draft local plan and the next consultation phase is known as Regulation 18. This is the last meaningful opportunity for individuals and councils to influence the substance of the plan (later consultation phases relate more to how it is delivered).

This Regulation 18 consultation phase is for 8 weeks over the Christmas period from 13th November to 8th January.

Attached the draft documents for your review. A large proportion of Rutland's housing requirement over the next 18 years is identified as being met by Quarry Farm (650 homes). The proposed modification of Great Casterton's proposed limits of development will also be a discussion topic, and finally the identification of nearly 50acres of land north of Tickencote for warehousing is somewhat concerning from an access perspective (see Policy E1 - 19.4Ha land identified near Tickencote for warehousing).
